Meet the Team

We have team members both in the United States and in Senegal to allow for excellent communication and accountability. Our Executive Director has a blended representation in both countries.

Senegal

  • Founder + Executive Director

Born and raised in Dakar, Senegal, Jules grew up with limited means but extensive support. Starting as a translator for a non-profit that collaborated with American teams on social and economic projects in rural Senegal, he found a new perspective in the villagers living on less than $1 a day around him. After meeting his now-wife, Reveé (an American), he moved to the U.S. in 2012. Since then, Jules has experienced a wide range of professional backdrops including corporate, mid-size, and small businesses. His opportunities in America have provided invaluable resources and expertise to people in Senegal.

“My experiences in Senegal have shaped who I am today. I am committed to paying forward the opportunities I was once given, providing hope and support.”

United States

  • Creative Director

Molly has been involved with work in Senegal since 2021 as a communicator and creative artist. She is self-taught and loves the challenge of finding meaningful ways to share hopeful and meaningful content. Having only been fulfilled by working with nonprofits, Molly finds joy in sharing about the lives of those in rural Senegal, and how although their lives are wildly different from ours, they're just as valuable and capable of purpose and sustainable change. After living for years in both the mountains of Utah and the beautiful history of London, she now lives in Pennsylvania with her husband Christian, and their young daughter, Frieda.

“There is a holy beauty to the culture and colors of Senegal and the multitudes it contains. And a special cuteness to my favorite Ngonine friends - the animals!”

  • Secretary

Fred has been empowering Ngonine for several years as a medical team member and faithful supporter. Fred has over 30 years of Emergency Medical Services experience as both a paramedic and the Chief of several departments in the greater Philadelphia area and currently works for Fitch & Associates as a Senior Associate in the Emergency Medical Services division. Fred lives in Delaware with his wife Rosemary, and children, Madelyn and Ian. His favorite trips include the celebration party where visitors and villagers dance and enjoy a drum circle with a huge crowd and celebrate the connections they’ve made.

“The love I’ve experienced in Senegal is so welcoming and has truly made me feel like a part of Ngonine forever.”

  • Co-founder + Treasurer

Reveé has been involved with Impact Senegal for several years, first serving as a non-medical team member on short-term trips. As one of the founding members of Impact Senegal, she has been an advocate and leader in creating infrastructures that enable underserved Senegalese communities to thrive. Reveé has roughly 20 years of Finance/Investment experience in areas like investment operations, audit/risk, and investment product services. She currently works for Vanguard as a Senior Manager in the Institutional Investment division. Reveé lives in Pennsylvania with her husband Jules, and 3 children, Naomi, Ezekiel, and Adeline.

“There is a zeal I feel each time I step foot in Senegal. It only magnifies when my kids talk about what Impact Senegal is doing. We’re creating legacies of change!”
