At Impact Senegal, we establish essential infrastructure, social systems, and financial practices that mature the village ecosystem and empower its inhabitants.

In 2020, Jules Caho began working with Ngonine leaders to form and launch several Impact Senegal programs.

These projects have already critically contributed to the Ngonine ecosystem. However, more can and must be done in each program to achieve sustainability.

We have four strategies to create a self-sustaining model: leadership training, financial planning, strategic in-country partnerships, and educational programming. As the ecosystem matures, Ngonine will holistically thrive.

The learnings and experiences generated inform a ‘playbook’ that Impact Senegal can apply to enable other villages for life-change across Senegal.

How do we measure sustainability?

  • Equipped partnerships, programs, and businesses that empower residents to live fully into the lives that God has designed for them.

  • Mature and experienced leaders that receive qualified and ongoing training. Leaders also have the chance to mentor and be mentored.

  • Stable and adequate revenue that funds the programs and its expansion.

  • Knowledge and experiences to equip each resident to contribute to the life within the village.

Transforming families.

Timothy Ousmane Ndour is a leader in the Ngonine village. He is a veterinarian in our Animal Program, a farmer in the Agriculture Program, a literacy teacher for the Women’s Program, and a leader at the church. Every member of his family is part of an Impact Senegal program, creating generational success and change. Watch the video below to meet the Ndour family and see how Impact Senegal transforms families.
